WhatsMiner Official
2021-01-12Over the years, the number of fraudulent individuals and groups posing as MicroBT and WhatsMiner representatives has grown significantly. These fake accounts often deploy a number of strategies that are usually intended to steal your money or personal data.
Unfortunately, as the individuals behind such fraud attempts usually conceal their identities and use multiple platforms to reach out to potential victims, we cannot help you if you have fallen victim to a phishing attack.
There are a few things you can do to protect yourself from impersonators.
1.Double-Check the URL or Username
The below 10 items are our only official MicroBT and WhatsMiner channels. We do not operate any other official channels:
MicroBT Website: microbt.com
WhatsMiner Website: whatsminer.com
Twitter: @WhatsMiner_MBT
Facebook:@WhatsMiner, @WhatsMiner Russian
Telegram Group: WhatsMiner Community
Telegram Channel: https://t.me/whatsminerofficialnews

2. Know That MicroBT Staff Will Never DM You to Ask for Personal Information
Keep in mind that a real MicroBT representative will never message you directly to ask for personal information. If you receive a contact request trying to solicit information or payment details, the person trying to get in touch is an impersonator.
If you are unsure, please ask for help in our only official Telegram channel.
3. Only two websites of MicroBT provide the complete solution for e-commerce operations. The product sales contract can be automatically generated/displayed, and Hong Kong law is applicable. MicroBT believes in, abides by market rules, and is committed to maximizing respect and protection of the rights and interests of customers' online purchases.
4. Fake Accounts That Are Currently Active
We have compiled a list of known fake accounts and websites. The below accounts are impersonators; do not interact with them. If you want us to add an impersonator to this list, please contact us at Support@microbt.com or BCGcomplain@microbt.com to report them.
Fake Websites
Fake Twitter Profiles
Fake Facebook Pages
Fake LinkedIn Pages
Fake YouTube Channels
Please beware of these scam accounts which pretends to be representative of MicroBT
and also the fake website below which has a highly similar layout to the official one
5. Report Suspicious Activity and Fake Accounts
The best action you can take when you are contacted by or discover an impersonator is to report them using the reporting system of the respective platform they are using. This will protect both you and potential future victims.
In the following, we link to information on the reporting systems of a number of widely used social media platforms.
